I spent almost too long studying for it, and when I thought I needed another month or two to review, my cousin pushed me to just go in and do it already. I gave it a shot and scheduled to take the exam within a week. I crammed all week up to that point, running practice exams and writing notes and doing small labs over and over.
Between maintaining this webserver, domain, and mail service, working in break-fix IT for 3 years, and studying the exam textbook prep material by Mike Meyers, I managed to acheive a score of 798 on the exam, and pass earning my Network+ certification at the end of March 2021.
This is my first respectable IT certification, and I am proud of it and excited to find more learning opportunities and new certifications that fit my career growth.
